Worked with eight high-school aged youth in an austim spectrum disorder classroom, as Jessie Roelofss assistant during a six week filmmaking residency at Southwest High School. Created worksheets and activities to engage youth in storytelling, plot development and the properties and functions of video cameras. Worked closely with youth through the stages of production to successfully produce two short films.

Chaperone up to ten middle- and high-school aged youth in off-site shoots. Helped youth set-up and prepared for on-camera interviews for the show Our Turn. Assisted in creative development of pieces and stories. Recruited new adult volunteers from the University of Minnesota. Developed and ran a photography based summer course through Juventud Conectada.

The Soap Factory, Minneapolis, MN Installation Intern

Worked as Tim Carrolls intern for his solo art performance/exhibit at the Soap Factory. Participated in preproduction designs and executing plans for his labyrinth, utilizing 12,000 square feet of the space. Managed and led groups of volunteers during exhibit fabrication, including attending to structural details and challenges and lighting the exhibit.

Created toy sculptures based on pre-defined concepts, while keeping in mind the aesthetics of color placement and form of each sculpture. Photographed sculptures and worked with images in Photoshop for marketing purposes. Worked closely with the creator of Q-Ba-Maze and interns to shoot and create a 90 second product video.
