ABSTRACT This correlation study was conducted to determine whether there is a significant relationship between the Nursing Aptitude

entrance examination scores and academic performance of the students,

descriptive-correlational method of research was employed with documentary analysis as primary tool for data gathering. The respondents consisted of the 180 Bachelor of Science in nursing students. Data were analyzed through frequency, percentage and multiple regression analysis. The WMSU- NAT and academic performance, taken singly and as a whole has no significant relationship of performance in their GPA. Students who perform whether low or high in the WMSU-NAT tend to perform well in their academic performance.
