Form & Writing

Through an investigation into type, devise 12 typefaces that represent a chosen theme.

Background / Considerations A collaborative project with Max and Yaf. Through an investigation into type within our surroundings, we will create a bespoke typeface each month centred on a pre-determined theme. We will create a type specimen publication for each typeface complete with various type applications through various means / formats and print processes. This will be accompanied by an online blog documenting our individual and collective research. The project will be entitled Form & Writing.

Mandatory Requirements - Each typeface must be based on a predetermined theme, backed by an online resource. Should be a continuous investigation into type Target Audience Type enthusiasts Graphic designers Other creatives Studio Deadline

Deliverables - Brand and visual identity - Monthly typeface with printed specimen and various applications - Online blog documenting our investigation - Type annual combining all 12 fonts
