Location

Absolute Location of Berlin (the capital), Germany is 52.3 degrees North and 13.25 degrees East.
Relative Location - Germany is bordered by countries such as Poland and France.

Movement
During the Great Depression, there was not a lot of food and not very many jobs. In the 1930s, Germany was really affected by the Great Depression because it depended on borrowing money from America.

Place
In Germany the most famous castle is Neuschwanstein. It was personally designed by King Ludwig II. Its took 17 years none stop to build this castle. King Ludwig II died before it was completed, so he never saw the castle fully finished. Over a million people visit this castle every year.

Germans really enjoy soccer. They know that going to school and getting an is very important.

Germans are hardworking and try to do the best in everything that they do. Beer is a major part of German culture. Germany ranked number four in consuming the most beer per person in world. There are 5,000 different brands of beer in Germany.

North of Germany has more water so trees and plants grow more in the north. The north is also colder then the south, so the north has more forests and bigger forests then the south. Because forests grow north, its harder to cut down and build communities there. So south of Germany has more communities, buildings, cars, and population.

Germany is divided into 16 regions (or states). Christianity is the largest religion in Germany. Over 48 million people claim to be Christians. German is the main language spoken in Germany.
