Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Night Thursday, October 11th at the Kimmel Centers Innovation Studio 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Registration begins at 5:30. Program begins at 6.

From canning food to making your own clothes, there has been a revival of Do-It-Yourself in Philadelphia. The sustainability movement, which advocates for less consumption and wiser use (and reuse) of resources, may be the inspiration for this trend. The DIY event aims to increase sustainability on the individual level and will feature several stations where participants can learn to make or do something using easy-to-find or reusable resources and their own labor and expertise.
