Narrative Writing Checklist

Important Parts are Here: I have two or more events in order. I used transition words like first, second, next, then, and last. I used some details. My writing has a closing sentence. The Letters are Right: My handwriting is neat. I used a letter chart to look at my letters, none of them are reversed. If the word is a word-wall word I spelled it correctly. I used my sounds to write all of my words. Capitals, End Marks, & Spaces: My sentences begin with a capital letter. My sentences end with an end mark. I have spaces between my words. It Sounds Right: I read my writing and it makes sense.

Now my narrative writing is complete!
