[Outline] An engine cutter is used to cut various obstacles at a disaster site, and has a small engine as a power source. It can cut iron and concrete by rotating the disk cutter at high speed. There are two sizes: large and small as shown in the accompanying photo. The weights of the large and small ones are about 13 kg and 6 kg, respectively.
(Product shown to the left in the photo) [Precautions in operation] 1. (1) (2) (3) 2. Inspection Check that the fixing nut of the cutter is tightened. Check that the cutter is neither chipped nor deformed. Check that the tank is full. Starting the engine
Securely hold the engine cutter with your leg and hand at a place where footing is stable, check that there is no person around you (particularly to the front and rear), and start the 1
engine. 3. (1) (2) (3) Cutting an obstacle Hold the cutter perpendicular to the obstacle and do not twist it during cutting. Before starting cutting, check that no person is around you (particularly to the front and rear). Keep your foot away from a line extending rearward from the cutter.
Others Do not use the engine cutter in the presence of combustible materials, because it emits sparks. Minimize your movement after starting the engine. Wear appropriate clothing while covering your face with the shield of a fireproof helmet or goggles.
