Marshmallow Assassin Official Rules

OBJECTIVE: You will be given the name of another Carpenter Resident and your job is to
eliminate them from the game. This is done by hitting them with a regulation marshmallow, obtained
at the Front Desk (Limit 2 per visit). YOU CAN ONLY SHOOT THE PERSON WHOSE NAME
YOU ARE GIVEN.

WAYS YOU WIN:

1ST PLACE: The person with the most kills,
2ND PLACE: Last person standing
3RD PLACE: The most creative kill*
*Submit a creative kill through the game website to have it entered for a prize.

PLACES YOU CANNOT BE SHOT:

• In class • In Church (or any legitimate religious place of worship)
• While at work • In the Library (or the bridge)
• In Carpenter Tower • On Carbeen

REPORTING SUCCESSFUL ASSASSINATIONS: Submit all kills at the website that you
registered at, upon both parties submitting a kill (both a killing and being killed), a new name will be
assigned.

SELF DEFENSE CLAUSE: If someone attempts to shoot you and is unsuccessful you can defend
yourself by shooting them first. They are not out of the game, but cannot shoot you until the next
day. EX: Fri – Sat

HAIL OF MARSHMALLOW CLAUSE: You may only throw one marshmallow at a time. If
multiple marshmallows are thrown at the same time the hits DO NOT COUNT.
MARSHMALLOW CALIBER CLAUSE: Only regular sized marshmallows are allowed. You
may get them at the front desk. You may also purchase them yourself, but they must be the same
size as front desk marshmallows

ALL RULINGS ARE FINAL: Two people playing the game can settle a dispute on their own if
they can reach an agreement. Any issue that is called into question will be decided on by the
Assassin Judges (Ryanne Brown, CT Facilities Manager, or Craig Zimmer, CT Hall Minister). Their
decision is final and cannot be argued. The honor system is in full affect: if you’re out, say you’re
out.

TIME LINE:
• Signups on the link from your RA until the game starts
• January 28th - (at 8am) – February 25th (at 5pm) – Game time
• Thursday Feb. 26th (Time TBD) -- Shoot out (if necessary) and Awards Ceremony

LAST MAN STANDING SHOOT OUT: If there are multiple participants left alive there will be a
shoot out.
