This documentary seems informational. It helps students understand why is font important? Font changes how people perceive a design. There are sharper fonts with a modern feel, curvier fonts with a younger feeling Who is the primary audience the documentary is aimed at? The documentary seems directed to people new to graphic design and experienced artists. It educates people by explaining what are the criteria that is useful for evaluating fonts. The documentary is also great for experienced designers because it interviews many famous font creators and people in the industry such as Rick Poynor and Matthew Carter, so the audience can understand how experts in this field think about fonts. What is the relevance of it to topics from our course? The documentary is very useful in that it helps understand how to think about the intricacies of fonts and how those intricacies expresses emotions.
