Brief Description: The participants will be squaring off against each other in one-on-one debates where each speaker will be allotted the Topic and Motion (For/Against) 24 hours prior to the competition. Eligibility: All IIM-L students (PGP, ABM, FPM) are eligible for participation Speaking Time: 4 minutes per speaker The speakers, in order, will be presenting their own arguments for the first 2 minutes. In the next 2 minutes allotted to them, the speakers get the opportunity to cross examine their opponents points while reinforcing their original argument. Judging Criteria: 1. Content 2. Creativity 3. Structure 4. Delivery Selected top speakers will qualify for the Final round whose format details will be sent out subsequently. NOTE: Participants are required to be clear about the fact that it is PURELY a Hindi debate. Hence, phrases and expressions from other languages must be avoided.
