Bree Hohnbaum 10/30/2012 UF 300 Ethics I was very surprised at my results from the tests that I took.

I do not think this matches up very well with how I view myself to be, however, the tests seems to be accurate and there is much research done about them. The one test that I took about fat people vs. skinny people told me that I have a strong preference towards skinny people. I did not find this to be true in the least bit, quite the opposite actually. I feel that I relate more to fat people, because skinny people just make me want to do something more with myself, like work out more or whatever it may be. I feel like I am constantly judging myself around skinnier people and I did not think that would be my preference at all. The media could be one explanation of this; the way skinny people and fat people are portrayed. I do believe myself to be an ethical person. I feel that I rarely cheat on things and that I am fairly honest. The first test (the one about morality and trust on the BBC website) seemed to be fairly accurate at measuring my morality and how I feel about trust. I do believe this test to be better out of the two simply because I agree with it. After reading about the research that many people have done for the Harvard site, it seems to be reliable and they claim to be accurate. The only reason I feel this to be false is because I do not agree with my results and was a little shocked. It made me re-think about how I think about things and ask myself, Do I really prefer skinnier people to fatter people? I wonder, now, if I should try and view things differently.
