The Land (Pt.

2) - The Mountain of the Lord

Exodus 15:17-18 Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O Lord, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.

The Lord shall reign forever and ever.

The reign of God (the Kingdom) is connected to God planting his people in the LAND, and specifically THE MOUNTAIN of inheritance. The Old Covenant land of Canaan was a type of a GREATER LAND found in Christ. God plants us in the land through faith in Christ. We come to mount Zion through faith in Christ. The earthly land and earthly Zion were types of the heavenly and spiritual. Zion is in Judah (Praise). Zion is the place of worship, the place of praise, the place of Gods rule and reign. This is a picture of the kingdom. This is the SANCTUARY of the LORD. We come to Zion by faith. We enter into the Sanctuary by faith. We come to the place and rule of God in Zion by faith. Gods plan was always to bring his people into the land and plant them in the mountain of his inheritance. This comes through the gospel. God reigns FOR EVER AND EVER in this mountain. Glory!!!!!!! Psalm 48:1 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
