UltraSeal Resin System

DEFINITION:

NCS-02E Page 1 of 1 Date:01-01-10

UltraSeal Resin System is a special epoxy resin tailored for oil well applications. The materials viscosity has been lowered to provide easy mixing and placement. The lowered viscosity is accomplished without associated volumetric shrinkage usually accompanying thinning of epoxy resin. A range of hardeners and accelerators have been developed to allow set control over a wide application range
APPLICATION/BENEFITS:

The UltraSeal Resin System has several important applications, they are as follows: Micro annular gas migration Mechanical isolation valve Casing leaks Wellbore stability Lost circulation Non-Shrinking No problem drilling/milling Functions at low temperatures Stable up to 205 C Over 1,650 psi/11,376 kPa shear bond. Over 200 times the tensile strength of cement Impermeable to gas Ultimate compressive strength of over 7,000 psi/48,376 kPa
CONCENTRATION RANGE: TEMPERATURE RANGE:

Based on well temperature
