BLACKBERRY CLIENT INSTALLATION:

Blackberry client installation is simple. There are two ways (Either of the two can be followed) 1. Copy the application to SDcard. 1. Now explore the sd card to the application. Click on jad file(jad file is the installation file) 2. Application ask for permissions. 3. Give all the permissions. 4. Application is installed successfully. 2. The second way is to copy the client to a server. 1. Open device browser and type the url corresponding to the server. 2. Click on the jad file and give all permissions. 3. The application gets installed successfully.

For Device logs: Blackberry JDE and Blackberry device manager has to be installed first. The software is available in below mentioned path: \\cephus\Phone Backup\Projects\softwares\BB OS 6 & 7 JDE Once the software is installed, connect the device to computer. 1. Open command prompt 2. Type the path to the blackberry JDE Example: C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 6.0.0\bin> 3. Press Enter 4. Enter the command: javaloader.exe eventlog > event.log This command is for capturing the device logs. 5. Enter the command: javaloader.exe screenshot image.jpg This command is for capturing the device image.
