Methodology

In our survey Cheating is Trending we have a target population, the 3rd year regular class students. We used the Slovins Formula to get the sample size.

The researchers sample size is 92 The researchers the cluster sampling as our research design there is two stage in this kind of sampling. So, we use the one-stage sampling design. First, in 24 sections, the researchers choose our clusters by random or the fish bowl method.

Total Cluster 1- Section 2 Cluster 2- Section 10 Cluster 3- Section22 49 49 48

In each cluster, the researchers surveyed the whole section as our respondents.

Introduction

Cheat (verb) to act dishonestly to gain an advantage,a common act, in which one develops when they are insecure in their capabilities. Cheating is trending nowadays; especially for students, since education is now in its higher level, students capabilities are not adequate and arent fully developed to cope with it. They are engaged in things that are not supposed to be done in school. Students are tempted to cheat in order to cope up with their grades, to raise or maintain their standings in the class and mostly to take advantage; these things are major results of procrastination, peer pressure, insecurity, lack of self confidence etc. For these reasons, processes of cheating, its applications, reasons and effects are well specified for determination in order to discover the possible remedy and cure for this widely held practice, usually done academically. Although not all of us are engage with this practice, it is about 4/5 of the world population considers this as not new to them. Cheating is an important area for educational research, not only because it reduces the significant assessment results, but also because it is an abomination to widely held public principles of equity and truthfulness. Moreover, modern education is centered on numerous situations that really depend upon the students honesty and ability. Regarding this, a research survey will be conducted in order to turn up with the following objectives
