The Service Pupil Premium

Service parents with children in State funded schools in England are encouraged to ensure that the Head Teacher of their child(ren)s school is made aware of their Service status for the Spring School Census which will be conducted on 17 January 2013.
The Service Pupil Premium is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) to State funded schools in England. The Premium helps schools in England to provide additional (mainly pastoral) support to their Service Children. The Service Pupil Premium will increase to 300 per Service Pupil from April 2013. The school will not be able to claim the Service Pupil Premium unless your child(ren)s name appears on the schools roll as being a Service child, based on the Spring Schools Census on 17 January. Pupil records are held on the National Pupil Database, but the Service indicator is PROTECTED therefore this data will not be shared.
