Im Tittin Rinde, a freelance designer, artist and writer. These fields are inseparable, included in the same resume.

Education: 1980 - 1984 Studies in fiber art and design at KHiO, Oslo, National Academy of the Arts in Norway, graduated with diploma in textile printing techniques. The curriculum I followed was aimed at fiber art, the design practice came from a trainee program I had the privilege to follow; at the silkscreen printshop; Runni Tekstiltrykk - learning the entire process for large scale screen printing by hand and semiautomatic machine.

Art work - in series Please note that the overlapping years are not by mistake but reflecting reality. One process tends to spark ideas for another line of work, hence the overlapping. Almost all my work, art as well as design, is done in series, like never ending stories.

2010 - 2011 The Coco Chain collection Jewellery collection 2009 - 2010 Trees Talk A collection of child drawings with texts about trees and scientists, philosophers and wild life enthusiasts. Self published in photo quality print. 2008 - 2010 Food, Feasts and Friends Manuscript for a food book. 2006 - 2007 Amnesia or Black holes Digital collage transfers dealing with the uncomfortable feeling of going blank and only discovering black holes. The layered collage supports the idea that even when we think our memories are stacked in neat layers, we can suddenly find our access to them is blocked. 2004 2005 This is Digital picture book about and with myself truth and untruth found in words, thoughts and memories that accompany our lives.

What I miss the most as an artist is the special energy I that comes from working with an enthusiastic team.

Because Im alone on job, I write a lot. Writing helps me understand what Im doing so I can do a better job and share my experience.
