Changes in WBTS Commissioning Parameters

About this document

This document describes the WCDMA RAN BTS commissioning file structure and parameter changes for the Nokia Flexi WCDMA BTS platform and the Nokia UltraSite WCDMA BTS platform in the WN3.2 and WN3.3 software releases. The Nokia UltraSite WCDMA BTS platform comprises UltraSite and MetroSite base station products. The document is intended for network planners, commissioning engineers, and operating personnel responsible for managing the configurations of the WBTSs. The parameter structure of the commissioning file for each platform is depicted in chapters 3 and 4. The appendices provide example commissioning files for both platforms. For parameter descriptions, please refer to the Plan Editor Flexi WCDMA BTS Parameters and the Plan Editor UltraSite WCDMA BTS Parameters documents in the NetAct document set, release OSS4.1 CD Set 2.

The HSDPA.BB.Resource.Allocation parameter has been added in WN3.2

2.1.2
2.1.2.1

Modified parameters in WN3.2

Ascu.Units

This parameter is not in use, as it is now commissioned on the AXC.

2.1.2.2

ATM.Transport.Sub-System

Transport commissioning has been transferred to the AXC. Therefore the parameters in the ATM.Transport.Sub-System category are currently not used. The ATM.Transport.Sub-System parameter itself must be kept in the commissioning file, but its sub-elements can be removed or their values can be left empty.
