Physic side:

Coriolis Effect
Coriolis in the Atmosphere:
The Coriolis Effect in the atmosphere is
the most important reason for the
circling of low pressure systems. You
can see this with a hurricane or low
pressure systems (blizzards etc.).
As you can see here in the picture the
turning of the systems is depending on
the magnetic system of the earth. In
the picture it is shown how this works.
Coriolis effect is the magnetic effect on
storm systems on earth. You shall
never see a storm system going to the
equator, because this is simply
impossible. The magnetic field is
pushing the systems to the other side.

Coriolis with wind:

The Coriolis Effect causes a deviation on
the wind. The wind goes to the
direction of the equator, just as you can see in the picture. The wind is always depending on
the magnetic field of the earth. What happens is that
the cold wind is moving to the middle of the storm
system. This wind is becoming warmer and is
turning around the middle of the storm system.
What you can see in the picture of the earth itself, is
that the closer you are to the equator, the higher the
Coriolis is. The Coriolis Effect causes that there is
never a low pressure area on the Equator. That is the
reason why there can’t be a hurricane in Argentina
and on the West coast of Africa.
Moreover, the Coriolis is a very important factor for
hurricanes because the Coriolis Effect causes the
convection of a hurricane. The convection is very
important for the development of a hurricane. But
not only Coriolis is very important for a hurricane but this effect with the divination of the
Rossby number is very important as well. This subject is discussed in the next chapter.
