INTRO

Welcome everyone to the Daily Devotions! As Christians, we are called to live better lives than
many of us live today, including myself. Therefore, I have created this to help us grow in our
spiritual faith. And yes I said us and our because I believe in joining in everything I have
others do, so that people are never left alone along this journey. You may be doing both the
Weekly Workouts and the Daily Devotions. This section, you will get a bible verse to read
every day and then three questions to reflect on using that bible verse. You can draw pictures,
write just a simple word down, or whatever will work in helping it stick in your mind and your
heart and help you grow! You can put as much effort as you wish into this as well, Im not
going to force you to do this, Im not going to help you with this, this is YOUR journey, and if
you really want to grow, its going to be your decision to do so. Sure, Ill be with you along the
course, and trying to encourage you or help you along the way, but its up to you to be the
change. I pray you will give this your all and be all in to be a stronger, brighter, and better
equipped Christian in todays world! Its what you do in this time, that will most affect, I
believe, what happens during the weekly workouts that you may be doing as well with this. It
starts at home and as your light grows from what you read in these verses, it will become too
big for your house and will have nowhere to go but outward into the neighborhoods,
communities, schools, and the world. So, without taking up any more time, let us begin this
journey together! Here, take my hand, and let us take that first step together..

VERSE: 1 Corinthians 13:1-6

The Way of Love
13 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a
clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all
knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If
I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, I gain

VERSE: Matthew 13:3-8

A FINAL NOTE
Congratulations! You have successfully finished this part of the journey!! I am so incredibly
proud of the time you spent diving into Gods great word and slicing it apart to understand it
more fully. I hope it helped you along your journey of faith and you have grown more because
of it. These were only a few verses though, and the rest of the verses are just as good or better! I
pray you will take the time to continue on this journey and read deeper into scripture. Our
bibles are the sword of truths that will help us in any battle that we may face. We can turn to
them in times of happiness and in times of misery. The word of God is like a floodlight, shining
into our darkest corners of our lives and showing us the way through this world that seems to
always have something going on with it. I pray you will keep this packet with you as an
example and reminder to use in the future. If you were wondering, most of the verses in this
packet were from NIV (New International Version), the others I put down were from NLT (New
