# Read the following passage carefully:

Assam is famous for its rich production of silk-mainly muga silk, eri silk and pat silk. The muga silk
is produced by the silkworm Anyheraea assamensis, whose larvae feed on sualu and som
leaves. The silkworm is endemic to the state. Eri silk, also called errandi silk, is a product of the
silkworm Samia cynthia ricini. These silkworms feed on castor oil plant leaves. Pat silk is a
production of the silkworm feeding on the mulberry leaves. Each of these silks have their own
distinctiveness and popularity, giving Assam silk a reputation of its own
