Motivation is the drive or force from within that makes an individual to do things. And one of the motivator that the reporter share to us that before a teacher discuss his topic, he can start by it giving an activity or a game doing this he can easily the attention and participation of his students. Example, a mathematics teacher is about to teach Fractions. To introduce this topic he can use the game PAPER DANCE. In this game, pair of student will need a Newspaper and when the music stops, the student will fit in their shoes/feet in it. When their feet/shoes exceed the newspaper that pair will be terminated or out of the game. Then, they will fold the newspaper in half the sizes until only one pair student remain and they will be declare as winners. After the game, the teacher will explain what the connection of that activity to his topic is. Those students are already applying Fraction every time they fold the newspaper. To be an effective teacher, we should also be a good motivator. That makes me think that teacher should learn a lot of technique to motivate students and what specific technique is applicable or proper to use in a certain topic. Through this, teachers make student more curious and interested on the topic that resulted to open a gateway to his student minds thus makes learning more effective and fun.
