This is likely attributable to the fact that the upper middle income countries have more disposable income to spend on cars, heat and electricity, and other items that very few can attain in Brazil.

a) Brazils Life Expectancy is right in the middle of India Denmark and Bulgaria; India has by far the worst and Denmark the best. b) Life Expectancy is generally a good indicator of how well developed a country is as it takes many different variables into account including what type and how good of health care is available, working conditions as well as home life and living conditions, food and nutrition quality, to name a few.
