How to work with CastNet and BlueCFD

1. Import case (e.g. tutorials C:\Program Files (x86)\CastNet\tutorials\CastNet2p4_OF2\1_Simple By loading the *.smf-File 2. Open the General Models and Select the OpenFOAM-Version Windows BlueCFD

4 Apply and Close

- Mesh the Case (Meshing-Process Execute) - Export the Case from Mesh Interactor (OpenFOAM Fast Export)

Select your Working-Dir in BlueCFD environment

Start your BlueCFD Windows Console

Go to your exported directory

Files are there but no case structure

Execute sh foam_pre.sh to generate case_structure Note: All scripts calls (sh foam_pre.sh, sh foam_solve) Will be replaced by a GUI very soon.

Uses PotentialFoam To initialize as defined in CastNet

Case structure is there

Tip: Open the scripts in a editor to see what happens

Execute sh foam_solve.sh to run the case

Control the residuals with sh foam_plot.sh

Run sh foam_post.sh to prepare for paraview (reconstruct, yPlusRas)

Call paraFoam
