The backbone of this idea began when Yayasan Wisnu, Balis longest runnning NGO, realizes the significance

of capturing and sharing experiences and lessons learnt. Bali and its people do not have time on their side if the threats of mass tourism, over-exploitation of natural and nature-based resources, and poverty are to be managed and overcome. Yayasan Wisnus aim is to put people at the forefront of its entire changing agenda. By implementing community organization and development, capacity building, knowledge and participatory management, Yayasan Wisnu highlights the importance of mutual partnerships and collaborative practice.
