Civil Engineering Construction Management Florida & Utility Coordination

With a proven ability to expeditiously resolve conflicts, GBF has broadened its utility coordination capabilities to include expertise in planning, civil engineering and construction management. Our utility coordination experience includes preliminary utility location (ASCE Quality Level D), plans review, development of utility conflict matrix, resolution of utility conflicts, easement subordination, permit administration, field reviews and final utility certification. GBF oversaw the initial utility coordination process in support of the $1.3B, 10.5mile I-595 expansion project in South Florida. GBF identified the Utility Agency/Owners within the corridor and initiated a utility coordination process to identify potential impacts with the proposed construction. GBF was responsible for generating a utility base map, preliminary conflict matrix, preliminary cost estimates and coordinating 300+ utility test holes. Once the

project was awarded to the concessionaire, GBF's role transitioned from handling the utility coordination to monitoring the process for the Florida Department of Transportation.
