    After years of planning and significant public investment, Dallas created a new gateway into the downtown. Given the new Klyde Warren deck park just opened, downtown's transformation is now begining to take shape. Several proejcts that will expand the office, retail, and residential offerings in the downtown are now on the drawing board.

    After years of planning and investment, the deck park over the Woodall Rodgers Freeway has eliminated a critical barrier between the CBD and Uptown. The new gateway has begun to garner substantial private sector investment interest to build on the, now accessible, strong inplace demographics. Within -mile from the new park, there are currently 55,000 daytime employees and 3.400 households with an average income of almost $90,000, 18 percent above that of the metro area.
