Hookes law for two dimensional angle lamina, Engineering constants angle lamina, Invariants, Theories of failure. 10 HRS

DEFINITION OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL:
It is a mixture of two or more materials which satisfies the following conditions: 1. All constituents are present in considerable proportion(one of them atleast 5%) 2. Properties of the composite are different from individual constituents in their basic phase 3. The constituents are mixed or combined physically with required bonding agent

EXAMPLES: NATURAL---BONES,WOOD,SHELLS ARTIFICIAL-----PLYWOOD,FIBREGLASS,RCC,FRP etc.
