The Indices used for Maintenance Evaluation in Garment Industry as follows:

LCC Life Cycle Cost is commonly understood to be the customers total cost and other sacrifice during the actual life time of the product.
LCC is used for-

1. Comparison of alternative products. 2. Improvements of products. 3. Adaptation of the maintenance and support organization Failure rate: Defined as the number of failures occurring in a unit time. Denoted as A failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) is a procedure in product development and operations management for analysis of potential failure modes within a system for classification by the severity and likelihood of the failures. Risk Priority Number = Severity Occurrence Detection

Cost benefits associated with FMEA are usually expected to come from the ability to identify failure modes earlier in the process, when they are less expensive to address.
