138 Cornell notes: the present tense of –er and –ir verbs and tag questions
Regular verbs To conjugate a regular –er or –ir verb in the present tense, drop
the –er or –ir of the infinitive and add these endings.

Tag questions • A tag question is attached to the end of a sentence to
make it a question. If you expect someone to answer yes,
us ¿no? or ¿verdad?
Examples:
Vienes a la fiesta, ¿no? (¿verdad?)
You’re coming…aren’t you?
No, no voy.
No, I’m not going.
