What is pre production?

In the music industry pre production is the process of planning a music video before actually creating it pre production involves talking about the idea for the music video, the budget for it, what equipment will be needed, the location for it, getting permission to film there and deciding on the characters job roles.

Director Jess Curtis production schedules, ideas, storyboards, filming, locations, character casting and promotions. Camera Man Joe Osborne- Film the music video, help write out the storyboards, call sheets shit lists and promotions. Producer Naomi Abraham Budget, risk assessments, actor release, permissions, copyright and promotions. Editor Louise Laws Storyboard, edits the film, distributes , What channels and advertisements.
