EPiC FAQs 1. A How to get to EPiC portal? Type epic.oum.edu.my in your URL address bar (NOT www.epic.oum.edu.my).

What is my username and password? Your credential to log in to EPiC is the same as your OUMs username and password.

Can I find EPiC in myVLE? No. EPiC is a not a component of myVLE. You need to go to EPiC as stated in 1.

What is EOS? EOS is an acronym for EPiC Online Supervisor.

Is EOS the same as e-Tutor? No. EOS is not e-Tutor as they have different roles and responsibilities.

Is student grouped according to their majors for their learning group? No. Students are chosen at random by the system but they are from the same centres and programme intake.

Can a student request to change his/ her EOS? No. Changing EOS is NOT allowed unless you have valid reason and is approved by the faculty.

What are the courses found in EPiC? There are 4 compulsory courses: 1. HBEF2703: Co-Curriculum (3 credits) 2. HBEF2803: Professional Development (3 credits) 3. HBEF3503: Inclusive Education (3 credits) 4. HBEF3603: Professional Practice (3 credits)

What is the mode of these courses? Courses on EPiC are fully on line. There is no face-to-face tutorials.

10. How are courses being assessed in EPiC? A There is no exam for these courses. However assessment are done for assignments, reflective journals and forum participations.

11. Is print module provided? A No. Since this is a fully online course, no hardcopy is provided. However students/ EOS have the option to print it out for themselves.

12. Can I use Bahasa Malaysia for my assignment? A Yes, you can use either language (BM/ English) unless specified.
