As a class, create a poster that will be put up in the classroom with the characteristics of a caring classmate. Students will get involved with different fundraiser activities to raise money for cancer research (bake sale, bracelet sale, car wash) Find scripture passages where Jesus reaches out to the carious groups in society. As global citizens, how do we celebrate others uniqueness and show gratitude? As a class, have a Celebration of Life for all of our family members/friends/members of church that have passed away in the past year. Write letters to Canadian soldiers. Participate in Remembrance Day ceremony. Have students collect pictures that have a calming, peaceful effect on them. Paste a few of them on their journals to help calm you down when feeling not feeling at ease.
