Question 1: Scenario We have been studying the differences between Communism, Capitalism and Socialism as it related to the Cold War. This scenario will show both you and me if you can describe what the each belives and articulate a reason for one and against the other two. You are a Sophomore at a Grand Valley State University during the winter semester in 1978 during the cold war. You entered college fairly uneducated in regards to politics, but have take a strong liking to them since your second semester of your freshman year. Your Political Science teacher has given you a great deal of information about Communism, Socialism and Capitalism , and is now asking you to tell him how you feel. After a great deal of consideration, you have decided that you believe in which ideology. Which one have you decided upon and why? What does this ideology offer that the others dont and why does this appeal to you. What do the other ideologies feature that makes them less appealing to you? Be sure to tell your teacher all of the reasons for and against each ideology, not JUST what YOU are for or against, that way he cannot say you chose without fully studying the ideologies You may want to read through the grading rubric that follows before you begin your response.

Though both where definitely Fascists, what made them different from each other. What made them similar? Why do you believe that so many people discuss Hitler in great depth, yet Mussolini is rarely discussed. In Hitlers case, he gained power without breaking a single law. How do these leaders attain such power without an extremely violent overthrow.
