Dear Rugby Stake holder ,Parents,Teachers ,Coaches, and Supporters, We are writing to update stakeholders on the status of the proposed

Under 16s ,17s Rugby Union Tour of New Zealand planned for the September School Holidays 2013. The purpose of this tour is to further develop Rugby Union within our region as well as offer the players a wonderful opportunity to be part of a touring team and a cultural experience. As some of you would be aware, the idea was canvassed through a mail out late in 2012. .In summary, the proposed tour of New Zealand is essentially designed for under 16 s ,but has been extending to incorporate under 17s players. Through initial research, the projected costs are approximately $1900 per player .We would envisage fund raising opportunities, have the potential of reducing the direct costs to $1000 per player . To date the tour has not generated enough interest, exposure ,or circulation to a significant number prospective players that would allow us to move into the second phase of planning. To date we have only 12 expressions of interest form players and parents. Most of the interested parties are from JPC School ,which is disconcerting as I believe others may be interested . Given we would require 20 to 25 players, we are seeking YOUR assistance, to inform, promote ,and spread the details to potential players. If a suitable number of players are identified, we will move to phase two and form a committee who will establish coach's, managers and a support group. All interested parties are invited to register their interest and assist in some capacity to see this tour come to fruition. . Please assist by circulating this email or the attached original letter of invitation or alternatively contact us direct if you have additional information . If this advice fails to generate a significant response by the 31/03/2013 then the NZ Tour file 2013 under 16s,/17 s will be closed due to lack of interest, apathy or a combination of both. Kind Regards
