Due Sunday 14th April You have been randomly assigned a period in art history to research and become an expert on. Your job is to create a poster to teach others about the highlights and most important points in art from that time. You must include the dates and name of the period at the top of your poster. Your poster should include, key aspects of art from that time, images done by artists of that time, what media were used, influences and what else was happening at that time. For each of you I have included some artists and key points to help you get started. Make your posters both informative and visually pleasing. You have more than a week to work on it so please put in time and care. These will be both presented and displayed for everyone so make something you can be proud of. Be Creative and have fun with them. Please see the grading rubric; you will be graded on criterion A and D. 1800s 1905 Impressionism & Post-Impressionism Key points; Experimenting with form and color, capturing fleeting moments, pastel colors Artists; Monet, Degas, Seurat, Cezanne, Gauguin, Van Gogh
