Platform Notes - J-Link for Creo Elements/Pro 5.0 and Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5.0

The Java compiler and runtime platform requirements for J-Link follow. J-Link is available on the standard Pro/ENGINEER or Creo Elements/Pro CD-ROM and is installed automatically with Pro/ENGINEER or Creo Elements/Pro. In addition to the compiler requirements below, J-Link requires a valid platform for running Creo Elements/Pro or Pro/ENGINEER. See http://www.ptc.com/partners/hardware/current/proe.htm. Java Compiler means the compiler used for JLink. The developers should compile their applications with the same version or above. Java Runtime means the default Java Runtime configuration used by Pro/ENGINEER or Creo Elements/Pro to run synchronous J-Link applications. The developers should not compile their applications with versions above this. Set the configuration option jlink_java_command to use a nondefault Java virtual machine for synchronous mode.
