I am writing to recommend Ms Giang to your university. I have been teaching and guiding her for the last two years in the subject English skill and literature At first, I found her not much impressed since she was a bit reserved and a girl of few words in my lectures at the beginning of semester. Her academic performance in the mid-term exam was relatively low, yet not until group-work and debate were required as assignments of students than it dawned on me that she was far different from what I thought. When it comes to group-work, she proved active, diligent and creative. Her team, under her guidance, was the only group to accomplish the project according to deadline and suggested initiative changes in the completion of school's projects. Along with her team's submission of project, she attached a feedback paper in which she stated clearly problems her group encountered, how much each member contributed in detail with examples and how many hours the group spent on each module of the project. Despite that I did not request students to do, she was glad to do it and even recommended her other friends to ensure my easy interpretation of results of their projects. I realized that behind her daily silence were her sharp thinking, scientific organizational skill and leadership. It was, though, seen that sometimes, her group members were a bit pressured by her exacting demand about assignment completion. For that, I had no hesitation to award her group with the best result, and I strongly recommend that she should be accepted to your university along with financial support.
