LOTICIO This is to protect the interest of the PUP community as well as to protect the Directors officeDirector Lualhati A. Bautista. This was the Directors stand about the implementation of the school uniform or the Blue Pants Policy. This policy aims to secure the campus from civilians who can freely access the premises, she added. The PUPSMB administration recently published a memorandum about the school uniform policy or the Blue Pants Policy issued last January 09, 2013. The said memorandum had taken effect 19 days after. It contains the following information with regard to the schedule of the students respective school uniforms as they enter the campus: Day Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Uniform Academic Uniform Organization shirts, Iskolar shirts and plain white shirts Academic Uniform Organization shirts, Iskolar shirts and plain white shirts Academic Uniform Organization shirts, Iskolar shirts and plain white shirts

In addition, P.E uniforms can only be worn during P.E classes while NSTP shirt should only be worn on NSTP classes only. Those students with no classes but have official business inside the campus should wear organization shirts, Iskolar shirts or plain white shirts and blue maong pants. The said policy was strictly implemented by PUP administrators. Last January 16, 2013, a complaint letter was brought to the Directors office with regard to nthe Blue Pants Policy. Twelve days after the said date, another complaint letter was sent to the Directors office for the same reason. The aforementioned letter is still undergoing legal process as it awaits a response from the President of the University.
