General information Name: Fernando Ortiz Ventura Carrer: English major Project 3 Year: 2013 2. Introduction The following report will be elaborated to know the importance of knowing the different teachers perspectives about teaching area. he teacher perspective inventory (TPI) is an inventory that has been elaborated in order to assess the orientation somebody has in the teaching area. The TPI also helps you better understand your own views of these perspectives and how you express them through your own beliefs, intentions and actions and it does so in an easy to understand profile.

3. TPI results and Description

According to the TPI questionnaire I have different teaching perspectives, I have acombination among apprenticeship being the higher also with developmental. The results provided by the TPI questionnaire surprised me in a way. though I am not working as a teacher now but its show me that I have the skills to be a good one in the future if i have the opportunity. 4. Conclusion As a conclusion this TPI test is very helpful to understand the different perspectives teachers have, you can take advantage in classroom of this information and in my opinion I agree with the results I obtained I consider that I have a mixture of thecharacteristic provided by the result with this information now I know what myperspectives are and know that to use them in order to improve my teaching skills.The TPI is very helpful and useful people caneasily access to it and interpret their perspectives as well.
