Purpose:

In an effort to fix the ever lasting complaint of there not being enough outlets in Marston, Student Government will fund the purchase of 15 rechargeable battery packs that students can rent from the front desk. The Energizer XP18000A is a reliable battery pack that can charge up to three devices at once, including laptops. Each device comes with over 10 AV cables and tips to make it compatible with virtually any device. The Energizer XP18000A is top of its class in service and reliability. The product is powerful, as it can charge a laptop for an additional 6 hours. It also safely charges multiple devices, so it is not a fire hazard. The product comes with a three-year warranty and a lifetime supply of free tips to replace old ones. The library will be in charge of distributing these to students through the front desk, and the students will be held liable for all damages. The Allocations Committee is requesting funding for 15 devices and will be following up to receive feedback about this product. The devices will come in just in time for finals week, so all students will be able to rent them out at Marston Science Library.
