Re: Transmission of Profane Language DJ ICE Cordel: At 6:56pm on Tuesday April 16, 2013, the song Keeping It Jiggy (Jiggy) by Elephant Man was aired by DJ ICE of ZIP 103 FM, and the following profane language transmitted over the public airwaves: Dance we a dance and keeping it jiggy, Me see 106 and Park and Rap city, Aj and Free dem a keeping it jiggy, Sadeki a dweet from him dey pan him madda titty, And him still a dance and keeping it jiggy This transmission is considered PROFANE, because it contains language so grossly offensive to the public who actually hear it that it amounts to a nuisance. The term titty is a derivative of Tit(s) which is slang for the breast. Tits is one of seven (7) dirty words banned from the public airwaves. This transmission violated regulation 30 (d) of the Television & Sound Broadcasting Regulations which state that no licensee shall permit to be transmitted, any indecent or profane matter. This material should not be broadcast at ANY time.
