Vibration survey done for the vapor compressor of desalination unit B Tag n#:59ML04B-MJ01. The compressor have deep grove ball bearing FAG 6228M-C3 for drive end side and non-drive end side. Vapor compressor bearing housing Average temp. 35 C The last 2 lubrication PM were cancelled (the last time the lubricant oil changed about one year ago.) Unusual vibration behavior was noted through the survey in the compressor bearing housing, this behavior related to the drive end bearing fault frequencies. Outer Race defect frequency or Inner Race defect frequency or a multiple of either defect frequency found in the vibration spectrum On Inboard Bearing.
