Dear Jeannette High School Sports Fan

This letter is being sent to you as an update of the progress the Jeannette Football Boosters have made over
the past year with the planning of the Jayhawks Training Center.

We have reached our initial goal of covering the cost of construction for the new weight room to be built at
McKee Stadium in Jeannette. It is our goal to have construction beginlate Spring of 2009. This new
construction will allow Coach Hall and the Jayhawks to move their existing equipment into a building
designed as a training facility.

The boosters and the coaches are excited at the prospect of moving out of Coach Hall’s 30’ x 32’ foot garage
into a facility that is safe and equipped with the necessities of heat, water, and circulated air. The
construction should start within the next ten weeks???

However; unplanned expenses may occur as they do with any construction project and the boosters need to
be prepared. We have been advised by our professional construction consultant, Joe Bleehash – Foothills
Architectural and Consulting tohave provisional money available in the event of any unforeseen
construction costs. It has been recommended by Joe Bleehash that the boosters have another $15,000
available to insure the prompt completion of the project and for additional weight equipment. It is for this
reason we need the community’s help so we can “safely proceed” with our plans for the new weight room.

The BOOSTERS CLUB has partnered with the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County (CFWC) to
accept donations on our behalf. The Foundation will administer the donations and provide a tax
identification number making all donations tax deductible. The CFWC address is 1116 Station Place,
Greensburg, PA 15601.

Any donations for the training center would be greatly appreciated. Please make checks payable to CFWC-
Jayhawk Football and forward to the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County.
