AL MAJAZ III BUILDING AWARDED FIRST PRIZE

Tarsheed, was launched by KAHRAMAA under the patronage of HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani with the aim of preserving and conserving the countrys resources in an effective manner. The function organized on Monday, 22 April 2013 by KAHRAMAA to mark the first anniversary of its five-year-long Tarsheed campaign, whose aim was to achieve an effective reduction of electricity and water consumption by the countrys residents.

HE Mr. Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority presented Mr. Mohammed Abdulla Al Obaidly, owner of Al Majaz III building the award for the best commercial building which incorporated a number of energy-saving methods and techniques and had put in place relevant environmental practices that helps ensure sustainable development.
