100 People Surveyed.

Survey Assignment Criteria: 1) Choose a topic of interest (musical groups, tv shows, video games, ice cream flavours, etc.). 2) Write an interesting question that is fair and unbiased to use for your survey. 3) Decide who you are going to survey (ie. Grade 7 boys, teenagers, female teachers, grade 6 girls, etc). 4) Conduct your survey with your target audience and keep a record of responses on a tally sheet. a. Keep track of who you have surveyed and when b. Keep track of how many people in total you have surveyed c. Remember the more people that you survey, the more accurate your results will be 5) Publish your results on a poster using 3 different types of graphs to show your results: a. Eye-catching title b. Survey Question c. Information about the people that were surveyed (age, gender, etc.) d. Date, time, and location of the survey e. Three different types of graphs that summarize the results i. Graph #1 _______________________ ii. Graph #2 _______________________ iii. Graph #3 _______________________ f. A concluding paragraph summarizing your findings using mean, median, mode, and range. Refer to your data analysis unit notes and chapter 7 (pgs. 248-270) of Math Makes Sense textbook to help you with this assignment.
