The Coral Castle of Florida is one of South Florida’s historical and famous landmarks. The story of this beautiful and fascinating wonderland of coral rock reads like a fairy tale, and began over fifty years ago when an obscure Latvian immigrant named Edward Leedskalnin came to South Florida. He chose this sparsely settled section of Florida because he "wanted to get away from the world".
