Kenny Webber began selling dumplings out of the back of his truck as a farmers market in New Hampshire. Prior to starting The Rickshaw Dumpling Bar, Kenny helped open restaurants in Seattle, San Francisco, Boca Raton and London. As a testament for his love for dumplings, he has been known to eat more than 40 dumplings in one sitting. Co-Founder David Weber had always been interested in business efficiency, something he has made sure the implement in the Rickshaw Dumpling Bar. He got his first taste for selling food and beverages at 8 when he would frequently set up a lemonade stand at the end of his driveway. Prior to working for Rickshaw Dumplings, he worked for the World Bank, advising businesses across the world. Their menu includes dumplings of only the freshest ingredients. Their selection includes a variety of chicken, duck, and shrimp dumplings as well as a warm chocolate shanghai soup dumpling; which is a Black sesame crusted mocha wrapper with hot callebaut chocolate. The word Rickshaw comes from one of the oldest forms of transportation, originating in Asia. The word suggests both speed and efficiency, things held in high regard at the Rickshaw Dumpling Bar. Translated from chinese, Rickshaw means man powered vehicle.
