PhilHealth is Pangkalaltatan, In support to the Universal Health Care or Kalusugang moving towards the introduction of new sets of enhanced benefits and increased financial risk protection for all members thru "no balancebilling" health care services. Critical to the implementation of this benefit enhancement, however; is the inevitable increase in premium contributions for all membership categories. The new premium rate for employed sector which shall continually be shared equally by the employer and employees shall be 3% of basic monthly salary effective f anuary 7, 2073 provided, the monthly salary base of an employee is determined and the at W 7,000.00with the minimum annual contribution of Php2,52A.00 monthly salary ceiling is at Php50, 000.00.
