The Merit List published on 10.05.2013 is arranged according to Main Category Ranking. The Counselling will be held according to this rank as per counselling schedule to be declared on 21-05-2013. The Rank of the candidates mentioned against them is the Rank in their own main category mentioned against them. Some SC/ST candidates does not have any Rank in General Rank coulmn though they have their rank in the Resv. Category column because their % of Marks is less than 50%. The Merit List is also available in the Website http://bed.vidyasagar.ac.in.

AS PER RECENT NOTIFICATION PUBLISHED BY H.E. DEPT. , GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL, THE DEPUTED CANDIDATES TEACHING IN SCHOOL FROM CLASS IX ONWARDS ONLY WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION TO GOVT. AIDED B.ED. COLLEGES UNDER VIDYASAGAR UNIVERSITY. TO ENSURE THIS, ALL ELIGIBLE DEPUTED CANDIDATES HAVE TO SUBMIT A CERTIFICATE FROM THE HEAD OF THE INSTITUTION THAT THE CONCERNED TEACHER IS TEACHING FROM CLASS IX ONWARDS AND ARE ELIGIBLE TO STUDY B.ED. IN REGULAR MODE. THE FORMAT OF THE CERTIFICATE WILL BE GIVEN SHORTLY.
